IDUNN
Acrylics and spackle (the golden apple) on 60x60 cm canvas. The third of my ladies, this is Idunn a love godess in norse mythology. Married to Brage, she is the keeper of the golden apples that rejuvinate the gods. The name I chose for this painting reflects on this, her prime duty. The colours are chosen because I wanted a golden feel about her and obviously the green is a way of contrasting this. |
